CCV Announces the Sophomore Connect Inaugural Cohort

Montgomery, AL – The Huntingdon College Center for Career and Vocation (CCV) has announced the inaugural cohort of the Sophomore Connect program. The self-directed experience aims to assist students in building their “rolodex” of connections to increase knowledge of career and vocation.

During the academic year, students in the cohort will complete various tasks in contacting individuals in their major field of study or projected career field. The meetings with professionals must also be conducted in a variety of communication styles to teach students how to connect appropriately by email, phone calls, face to face meetings, zoom calls, and onsite shadowing in the field. The topics of conversation in each communication are outlined to assist the students with learning more about the jobs and opportunities in their chosen major at Huntingdon College.
